About
Born into a family of makers, it was no question I would pursue a creative career path. I've always enjoyed the ideation and planning behind a project, as well as seeing it through the creative process. I draw inspiration from wandering antique stores, flipping through my favorite magazines, and exploring other hobbies such as refinishing antiques, embroidery and paper crafting where I can work with my hands.
I try to find or create those moments of "bliss" (note the word cham•bliss in my studio name) when working with clients. There's nothing better than the moment a client's needs and my designs align like a constellation, or when a client sees their pieces in print for the first time and they physically can't put them down. There are times I can't hold back my smile when a client is sharing their story, their "why", and I instantly think of a way to incorporate that into the design so they never forget why it is they do what they do. These moments are what feed my creativity and passion. I work hard so my clients can cherish the moments of celebration, share the work we've created together, and succeed in their business. |
After working with Laura on a few of the projects for my business I was very pleased. As a business owner myself, I found her to be professional and patient with the needs of her customer. I would highly recommend her, especially for her great sense of contemporary style.
