The Pot Belly Pig

About the Project

Steve Mathews, Owner of The Pot Belly Pig in Greenfield, Ohio took over our local diner to provide affordable southern comfort classics that all the locals love but kick it up a notch with the addition of his secret smoked dishes and homemade sauces. When I heard the diner was going to have the word  "pig" in their name I instantly fell in love with his vision for this restaurant staple in our downtown! I went through my normal moodboard and inspiration phase of the project which was crucial to it's success. Steve had specific direction and a brand he admired that strongly influenced his wants for the project. The moodboards helped us figure out what it was about the brands he admired so we knew what to infuse into the one we were creating for "The Pig." 

Logo Concepts

Steve chose this design as his final logo and has since applied it to his windows and some sweet shirts for his employees! We also worked together to create menu designs.
